Post-baccalaureate Premedical Certificate Program
Dear student:
Thank you for your interest in UMass Boston's Post-baccalaureate Premedical Certificate Program.
The term "premedical" includes medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, osteopathic, and podiatric medicine. We also provide services for students planning careers in other allied health professions.
This undergraduate certificate program is selective in its admissions and challenging in its expectations. We look for students with the ability and motivation to rise to those expectations, and provide them with the support they may need: course selection assistance, help in finding healthcare related experience, volunteer or paid, accessible faculty, and an environment that is supportive, congenial, and encouraging.
